Keeping up to date on a blog, sometimes becomes a thankless task.

Working hours on end, creating fresh original content  can become a drag.

Many bloggers, affiliate marketers, and website owners become over loaded.

Contrary to what you are often enticed to buy in the market place, there really isn’t a “push button” set it up onetime and leave town solution.

Since you need a certain amount of content optimized for search engine traffic that you aren’t busting the budget paying for,  what is the solution?

Content Curation may be the cure for the Pain!

Well, I bought this plugin and am trying it on a site I own.

The future will tell if it really helps as much as it says.

Since I’m not good with keywords, think I overdid my setup, so I’m going back and clean things up a bit and watch what happens.

I’m certainly getting excerpts from compatible websites and blogs…Changed one of my setting so I can edit anything that comes in as long as I leave the setting for found information on “Draft”.

The biggest snafu right now is clearing out the mess I made when I let it run with automatically post for several weeks and ended up with 403 pages of content.  Not good.

Must get better at reading the setup instructions and following.

Dumb of me because there are very easy to access tutorials that walk you through it.

Helpers are a helper if you use them correctly.

Come back again in a week or so, or else sign up below your comment to get notified when I post again and get the update.

I’d like to know if you have ever done something as dumb when working on your site!

Thanks for Visiting.

Review: How to Create an Infographic in an Hour!

Well, a review of how to create an infographic in an hour means either being an infographic guru or finding out where and how to do.

Inforgraphics:  What are they?

For the uninformed, Infographics are an excellent tool to use to consolidate huge amounts of information, statistics or even related facts that you want to compare.

I was reading a Corbett Barr article about blogging and why you don’t want to create a blog????   Was really an article in an old archive to his old site about building a blog….

Anyway, I continued on to a site called The Gumroad Blog that was explaining how to use content to help run traffic to your product that is listed for sale on their Gumroad sales processor.

They referred me to Hubspot and their article and free giveaway on how to make Infographics in about an hour and Why you need to use Infographics.

Here is a sample below, detailing Social Media marketing facts and statistics.  Not included in this infographic was some interesting information I read while on Hubspot…64% of people open their email on their mobile appliances…iPhone, iPad or Android.

What is the world coming to?  Mobile and no Pc

That brings up another point, is your Autoresponder mobile friendly? Better find out!

Plus there is a link so you can go download your own templates and get the detailed instructions on how to make your own infographic (according to Hubspot) in about an hour.

I do believe that they are using Power Point..which I don’t have but I am going to give my Open Office power point imitator  a whizz at it.
Enjoy!  I did!

Please include attribution to http://blog.hubspot.com with this graphic.  I did!  Check them out.  They give away nice stuff.
